Children, Youth & Families Team

We’re looking for team leaders to take our work with children, young people & families to the next level. Could this be you?

We currently have 3 roles available, which could be combined.

1) Youth Ministry Lead (St. Mark’s)

Part time, 21 hours per week. We’re looking for a gifted and dedicated leader to develop our work with young people and take it to the next level, both in the church and community, where opportunities for outreach and youth discipleship are plentiful. If you have the ability and sense a calling to invest in this ministry, we want to hear from you.

2) Children & Families Ministry Lead (St. Mark’s)

Part time, 21 hours per week. We’re looking for a gifted and dedicated leader to develop our work with children & families and take it to the next level. This involves helping to grow faith through church and community connections, including working with local schools. If you have the ability and sense a calling to invest in this ministry, we want to hear from you.

3) Children, Youth & Families Enabler (North East Lincs Deanery role)

Part time, 10 hours per week. The North East Lincolnshire Deanery Partnership are looking for a CYF Enabler to help equip churches for mission and ministry to the rising generations. This involves providing encouragement, support and training for local churches in their work with children and young people, leading to growth in faith, in depth, range and numbers. Each CYF Enabler in the diocese will serve alongside other Deanery Partnerships and collaborate in a diocesan wide network. Part time, 10 hours per week. These 10 hours do not include work at St. Mark’s.

Leadership Development Year

(Part-time)

Our LDY involves apprentices being placed with the church for 3.5 days a week. You will have an opportunity to focus on a main ministry area which you will serve in and gain experience in a couple of other areas too.

Alongside gaining mission and ministry experience, you will also access leadership and theological training to help you grow as a leader and as a disciple of Jesus. The LDY is open to anyone, there is no age limit! All we ask is for you to commit to the 11 months, enabling you and us to benefit from our learning and practice together.

This year, we have the following streams available:

-Rising Generations -Worship and Production

-18-25’s ministry (students and young adults)

-Community Bridge Builder -General ministry experience
